MEDICALLY SUPPORTED RESIDENTIAL STABILIZATION PROGRAM

Our residential program provides a highly structured, clinically supported living environment for individuals with complex medical and behavioral needs, including those diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome.

This program is designed as a hospital diversion and step-down alternative, offering intensive supervision and medical oversight in a safe, less restrictive setting.

Clinical Care Model

We deliver a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach that includes:

  • 24-hour supervision with enhanced staffing ratios (2:1 support as clinically indicated)
  • Additional environmental support staff to ensure continuous safety monitoring
  • Up to 16 hours per day of nursing oversight, including medication administration, health monitoring, and coordination of care
  • Individualized behavioral support plans to address food-seeking behaviors, anxiety, and risk of elopement
  • Structured daily programming focused on stability, routine, and functional skill development

Onsite Day Programming & Therapeutic Fitness

A key component of our program is onsite structured day programming, designed to support both behavioral stabilization and physical health.

Services include:

  • Daily structured activity schedule to promote routine and reduce maladaptive behaviors
  • Supervised fitness programming within an on-site fitness center, tailored to each individual’s abilities and health status
  • Weight management support is critical for individuals with Prader-Willi Syndrome
  • Skill-building and engagement activities to enhance independence and social functioning

This integrated approach directly addresses the metabolic, behavioral, and psychological challenges associated with Prader-Willi Syndrome and reduces the risk of medical complications.

Specialized Support for Prader-Willi Syndrome

Our program is specifically designed to address the unique medical and behavioral risks associated with Prader-Willi Syndrome, including:

  • Strict environmental food security controls (secured kitchens, monitored access)
  • Continuous supervision to mitigate hyperphagia-related risks
  • Behavioral stabilization strategies to reduce escalation and improve self-regulation
  • Medical monitoring for obesity-related and endocrine complications
